The Met Costume Institute Gala 2012

Here are my favourite frocks from last nights event.
I LOVE when it's Met Gala time. 

I'm seeing a lot of over the top dresses, sequins, sheer, feathers, and dark lipsticks..

Beyone is wearing Givenchy, I love the sheer & intricate details of the beading. Completely stunning.

Cate Blanchett in a feathery Alexander McQueen, minimal makeup for such a statement dress.

 

My ALMOST favourite.. Michael Kors knocked it out of the park with this bronze waist hugging frock. And, Jessica Alba looks amazing (as usual).

Oh the tulle! Leighton Meester looking fab in Marchesa.

 

The dress I would most likely be seen in - also Givenchy, Rooney Mara never fails to look elegant, with porcelain skin like that.. how could you!

 

Ladies and gentleman, we have a winner. Camille Belle playing a 20's siren in a ever flawless metallic plunging Ralph Lauren, that dark chocolate lipstick.. doing wonders!

 

And last of all.. my shocker of the night. Anja Rubik. Not leaving much to the imagination.
