Winter Blues

To start our fresh, new image.. we thought we'd begin with our current season, WINTER!

It's each to their own in the opinion of who prefers the sun and who prefers the rain, but let's be honest.. sometimes, there is nothing better than feeling the warmth of layering, coats, scarves, hats and boots on a rainy winter's day!

This post we will discuss what three types of coats currently trending in our wonderful world of fashion, and where you may be able to find some of these items at less than half the price!

Let's not forget, when it's winter in Australia, it's summer overseas. Thus being the case, most of the overseas online shopping labels such as Shopbop.com, Asos.com and Net-a-porter.com (just to name a few), are having HUGE sales. Also keep in mind, winter in Australia means END OF FINANCIAL YEAR SALES! Can I get a 'hell yeah!'. 

It's more than easy to find what you're looking for, at an affordable price. 

At the moment we are seeing a lot of long coats, from thigh length, to knee length, and if you're game - even ankle length - which we are completely loving, ranging from styles to the bomber jacket to the poncho.

With a beautiful beige colouring, large raglan open cuffs and self tie waist band (allowing you to leave it open or closed), you can't really go wrong with this number. Dress down as photo shows, or dress up with a black knee length bodycon dress dress and black ankle boots!

This lovely little number is season transferable and a great bargain! You can wear it with plenty of layering in winter, but also bring it with you to spring, and even summer! It has short sleeves, and an amazing over sized collar which would look fantastic with a thick scarf.
