Isn't it funny how trends come and go?

Some things we swear will never come back into fashion, and then all of a sudden you see an icon wearing them and think - yeah I can make that work! Like you have forgotten instantly that you had definitely dissed it before.. are we going to pretend we didn't hate flare jeans for the past few years? Or that Adidas sneakers were so not cool. Well, think again lovely ladies. There is nothing more cool than what we are seeing on our current fashion icons, and it includes both of those items!

I do wonder if we have Kanye to thank for the recent return of the Adidas sneaker, you might not like him - but you have to hand it to the guy. He really knows what's up.

So here's to putting your best foot forward, in the Original Adidas sneaker!

Dressing Well Every Day!

Okay guys - we are letting the cat out of the bag here!

Want to know how to dress well every single day? It's really quite simple. When you walk past someone who looks fantastic, you assume it took them FOREVER to choose the outfit they are wearing. Yes, it can seem like matching your shoes, pants, tops, bags, accessories is something you absolutely don't have time for as you're rushing out the door at 8am and applying your mascara in the car, but this is how easy it can be.

Keep it super simple.
Have your ''I know I look good in these'' staple products. Mine are definitely a pair of black pants or well fitted jeans. Choose your staple item on it's ability to be versatile.
Example, I know my black jeans look great with black boots, heels as well as sneakers.
My go to jeans are definitely the Topshop Moto Washed Black Busted Knee Joni Jeans (with split across knee, and without). You may find a light coloured denim, or a particular top is your go-to item. You may not even realise you have a go-to item until you read this, but trust me - you do! It's the item you throw on when you know you don't have to think about it, it's something you wear when you feel good without trying. Look at your wardrobe and assess what your staple items are!

Have a statement piece. 
Weather it's a beautiful bag or a big coat - that one statement will immediately make the rest of your outfit stand out. I adore this coat from Asos, and there are so many other gorgeous statement coats to choose from at the moment - and bonus! Majority of them are on sale!

Know whatever you are wearing, you can dress up or down if you need to. We are loving the fact that at the moment, you can wear your staples, your statement coat and switch up between sneakers or heels.

And last but not least - watch your lines! Cuff your jeans, uncuff them. Roll up your sleeves, unroll. Put your hair up, let it back down. Tuck your shirt in, untuck. Play around and pay attention to what really works with your body shape and the look you are going for.

It might seem hard to look fab, but it's definitely not!

Hair Hair Hair!

If you're anything like me, when you have long hair you want short hair, and when you have short hair you want long hair.
Luckily, both are equally as stylish thanks to the most beautiful cuts and colours we have been seeing in the fashion world recently.

If you have longer hair, there are some really great products that help with the messy/wavy style.
You can grab the Kevin Murphy hair resort spray or sleep on your hair when it's wet and apply a little Argan Oil to get rid of the fluff! Flick your hair over to one side to create extra volume (without neatly finding a part).
We are also seeing a lot of loose plaits, braiding and messy buns that are quite easy and effortless.

For shorter hair, the sleek look can be achieved with a good straightener (I use a GHD) and a blunt cut. The ''I woke up like this'' look can be achieved with the same product as above, just rustle your hair around and give it some bounce.

The one thing I remember about having shorter hair is not giving in to the ''it's so much easier to maintain''.. yes it doesn't take as long to wash and dry but it can be a little more difficult to style if you want it to sit a particular way, and unfortunately it's not as easy as throwing it up in a pony when you're having an off day!

The colours we are digging are auburn, jet black, peroxide blonde, deep brunette & honey blonde/brown.

Winter Must Haves 2015

This year we are welcoming winter with a lot of navy, marsala, khaki, cream & black (of course!).

At the moment we are really digging a few looks. One being the navy boot - it's a nice change from the usual black or tan and can really step up your look, especially with some cropped jeans & a knit, or tights & a dress with a trench.

The second thing we are loving is oversized knits! This is really gorgeous, especially if you're tucking your hair into a big knitted turtle-neck sweater. Just put your knit on and slowly with your fingertips, massage the top of your head to slightly pull strands of hair up.
It not only gives your hair great volume but really shapes the face - so chic!

You should be having a wonderful time planning the special day you say ''I do'' to the man (or woman!) of your dreams. 
Things will definitely go wrong, but as my husband said to me when we were planning our wedding "As long as you're there, I'm there and the person marrying us is there - nothing else matters". So enjoy! xo
